New 500 and 2000 Rupee Notes in India Special Features and Designs:

The Indian 500 and 2000 rupee banknote is a denomination of Indian currency released by the Reserve Bank of India from 10th November 2016.

Earlier the RBI had announced that from 8th November 2016 the old 500 and 1000 rupees notes were demonitised and soon new 1000 rupees note will also be released.
