The data used on the Internet should remain same with no separate charges should be made based on the user, content, site, platform, application, type of attached equipment, mode of communication.

This type of principle is called as Net neutrality that should be followed by the Internet service providers and Governments.

In India there were no laws governing net neutrality as of the month August 2015 and hence the Internet users treated equally.
