How to apply for ration card in Rajasthan?

The ration card applicant or rajasthan should handover the application for the issuance of a family card, attaching the deletion certificate given by the Enforcement Officer FCS/ Inspector FCS/ Gram Panchayat Sarpanch / GPS of the earlier place of residence to the respective office along with the essential documents.

The application form should be attested by the Office Head in case of workers and by any Municipal Commissioner / Gazetted Officer / Member of legislative Assembly / Ward Member or any other person recognized by the Government for this reason.

The applicant will be issued an acknowledgement for the application form and the date on which the resident should have the Ration Card. The citizen should present the receipt slip to collect the Ration Card rajasthan. The office might scrutiny the recent address as mentioned in the application and if all found to be true, the new Ration Card or the altered ration card, however the problem may be, will be provided to the applicant.

An inquiry officer will too examine other particulars like family members and a lot, listed in the application form. In case of name inclusion of a child, the birth certificate & original ration card should be submitted to the office. While incase of wedding etc, Deletion Certificate produced by the earlier official should be attached with the application and the ration card.

The application should be posted in the prescribed proforma Form A for a Ration Card/ Addition/ deletion of name and for rejection of ration in the same format.

The Sarpanch is the concerned authority to issue the ration card in case of rural areas and the Inspector, Food & Civil Supply dept. offers the ration card for urban areas.

The ration card fee of Rupees 5 is levied to issue Ration Card.
