How does an andamanese obtains a PDS card? To avail the smart card the resident of Andaman & Nicobar should access the offical website http://dcsca.andaman.gov.in/.
The eligiblity to apply for ration card in Andaman & Nicobar Island is to be the resident of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The A&N ration card applicant should approach the Director, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Port Blair, A & N for further procedure. Similarly, to get new andaman family identity card the ration card application to be addressed to the Directorate of Civil Supplies, Supply Lane, Port Blair, in respect of Port Blair and South Andaman. The same authority is responsible to add or delete ration card members in andaman and nicobar islands as well as transfer of family ID Cards.
The citizen should reach the Asst. Director, Civil Supplies between 9.00 am and 01.00 pm. The requisite documents or papers for ration card in andaman is proof of residence, income or salary certificate from Head of the Department / Tehsildar.
There is no ration card application fee charged by the officials.
