Earlier, Union Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan also said – there is no concern, Atalji is fine. 93 years old Vajpayee is under the supervision of Dr. Randeep Gularia, Director of AIIMS.

Bharat Ratna Atalji was last admitted to AIIMS in August 2017. This time they have an infection in the urinary tract. His only one kidney is working. There is no possibility of dialysis in such.

For 30 years, he is undergoing treatment at AIIMS under the supervision of Atalji’s personal physician Dr. Randeep Gularia. For the first time, he has been admitted to the Cardio and Neuro Department. Vajpayee’s son-in-law Ranjan Bhattacharya and private secretary MC Jigsa Atalji live together. This time he completed his term till 2004.

Atal Bihari Vajpayee announced in a rally in Mumbai in 2005 that he is retiring from active politics and handing over the reins to LK Advani and Pramod Mahajan. At that time, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had said that Vajpayee was the father-in-law of the current political leader.

Vajpayee was born on December 25, 1924 in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. He is basically a poet and a teacher has also lived. Jan Sangh was founded in 1951 and Atalji entered electoral politics. They were arrested during the 1975-77 Emergency. After 1977, he was also an External Affairs Minister in the Morarji Desai Government of the Janata Party.
