BSNL giving 1.5 TB data at 100 Mbps speed, Know Plan to challenge Jio:

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has changed the FUP limit of its broadband plan to give the GigaFiber broadband service to Reliance Jio. In the plan of Rs 4,999, the company where the first 1 TB data limit was limited. Right now, it has been increased to 1.5 TB. This change is for the users of Chennai. Apart from Chennai, the company is offering different plans for the other cities.

Under the plan of Rs 4,999, users will get 1.5 TB data at 100 Mbps speed. After the end of the FUP, users will be given a speed of 2 Mbps. Apart from this, a free email id, including free voice calls, will be given, along with a 5 GB free space.

Apart from the Rs 4,999 plan, the company is offering five other FTTH plans, starting at Rs 999. The company is providing plans from Rs 999 to Rs 2,999. Let me tell you that there is a premium plan of Rs 4,999. The company has made changes in all these tariff plans. In the Rs 999 plan, users will be given 250 GB of data at 60 Mbps speed. Plans for 400 GB data, Rs. 1,299, 550 GB in plan for Rs. 1,299, 800 GB in plan for Rs. 1,999 and 900 GB data will be given for Rs. 2,999. Up to FUP users will get 80Mbps speed. At the same time, users will be given a speed of 2 Mbps after the end of FUP.

The price war has also started in the broadband sector. Private companies such as ACT Fibernet, Cherrinet, are offering better benefits than BSNL. But BSNL has taken the initiative to woo the users. The company wants to attract users by introducing new plans.

According to the company’s claim, Jio GigaFiber will be quite different from other broadband services. In GEO GegaFiber, the company will install the system in the homes of people through optical fiber, which will not cause data loss and users will enjoy high-speed internet. The company named it Fiber to the Home (FTTH) service.

Jio GigaFiber will be launched simultaneously in 1100 cities across the country. Which will directly affect BSNL’s broadband service. BSNL provides users with data of speeds of 50 Mbps. Geo Gigabhaiber will provide users with data from 100 Mbps speed. The booking of Geo Giga fiber will start on August 15, after which the service will also be started on the basis of registration.
