49 Hour Countdown of ISRO PSLV C23 SPOT SEVEN Launch at SDSC on 30.06.2014

pslv-c23-10_jpg_1972675gISRO delayed the launch of PSLV C23 by three minutes i.e., from 09:49 am to 09.52 a.m. IST on 30.06.2014. This reschedule launch of PSLV-C23 comes as the probability of space debris movement is due to be cleared. The spaceport of Sriharikota today on 28.06.2014 started its forty-nine hour countdown triggering the launch of ISRO’s PSLV-C23 which will carry French Earth observation satellite comprising 4 others of Singapore, Canada & Germany.

Right today on 28th june 2014 at about 08:52 am in the morning the 49-hour countdown of PSLV-C23 Mission began at Satish Dhawan Space Centre at Sriharikota by the Launch Authorisation Board LAB. The visitors and witness of the French Satellite, SPOT-7 are the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the co-passenger spacecraft of Canada, Germany & Singapore will arrive at the first launch pad at SDSC at Sriharikota, which is about one hundred kilometer from Chennai.

SPOT 7 is one of the Earth observing satellite as same as Indian Remote Sensing System IRSS. ISRO has so far launched 35 satellites of foreign countries onboard its workhorse,
With this latest launch the indian workhorse Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle has nearly thirty five international satellites launched by ISRO.
